While living in Italy, Ethan Norman and Maverick Helfert noticed something everywhere around them: photobooth culture. Across Europe, capturing a night out on a tangible photo strip is a very common practice: moments made permanent, pocket-sized, and shared. Back in the United States, they found almost none of it. The booths they saw were pre-built generic machines, nothing like the striking custom handcrafted booths woven into Europe's bars and clubs. So they built Accomplice to bring that artistry home: bespoke booths designed, fabricated, and installed for American nightlife.
